Nancy Jane was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She has raised four children by herself while building first a very successful career and then a very successful and rewarding business. She has been blessed with five wonderful grandchildren including twins!
Nancy Jane has always been an avid gardener. As a child, her fondest memories were times spent with her own grandmother digging, weeding, planting and harvesting both the flower and vegetable gardens.
Nancy has always enjoyed traveling and going to new places. In the mid-1980's after the break up of her marriage, Nancy and her then three children packed their bags and moved to Australia to start a new life. They spent seven years there and it was during this time, Nancy's love of nature grew further. Besides being able to grow plants that could literally grow year round, she discovered her beloved rainforests!
Nancy Jane has an extensive background in sales and customer service. Her first sales job was working for Tupperware while she lived in Australia. From there, she made the plunge into office equipment. Through her next ten years, she enjoyed being at the top of her field.
In the summer of 2000, Nancy received a phone call from a dear friend in Australia about a terrific new product. In June 2001, she left her office equipment world to embark on her new adventure... marketing and selling a new concept in flower pot technology. Her children thought that she was mad as they watched her invest her small life savings and drive away in a rented truck complete with a bed in the back and plenty of stock to start selling. Today, when the season is slow, she can still be found out driving the USA with her truck and trailer introducing her product to new people!
Nancy Jane's Self Watering Stacking Planters were featured on QVC for six years and has just completed its first year at HSN. Her pots can be found throughout the US at Nurseries and Garden Centers, at various sites online as well as many mail order catalogs.
In late 2004, the new Self Watering Stacking Planters were introduced. Nancy Jane is especially proud of these pots as she is the inventor! The new Self Watering Stacking Tubs were introduced in the Spring of 2006. The next year, Nancy Jane introduced the new "Made in America" Deck'N Rail Systems. Two new designs are in the works so keep coming back!
