Nancy Jane and NJ Supply/GardenToGrow were proud to donate 25 grants to the Sarasota Bradenton, Florida low income community through All Faiths Food Bank! The grants donated everything they would need to grow their own vertical herb gardens! The grant included a five tier original stacking planter, a brick of coconut coir, a bag of Nancy Jane's Special Potting Mixture, seeds for six kinds of herbs and lettuce, and a make-your-own greenhouse with instructions. Each recipient also received a Instructional DVD explaining how to grow their own gardens.
Jill Collins, RD, the Director of Nutrition Education at All Faiths Food Bank sent us a wonderful Thank You card. "So appreciated by me and all of the non-profits that are now able to have their own gardens & all of the staff & Board of Directors here at All Faiths Food Bank. We can't wait to see what "grows" from your generous donation!" We hope that the grant recipients take pictures of their growing gardens and share them with us so that we can share them with you. Nancy Jane has begun her second year on HSN (Home Shopping Network). She has made several appearances on TV so far this year so stay "tuned" for her next appearance on Friday, May 7th at 9am for the Lawn & Garden show.
This year, Nancy has a new product on HSN - Solar Lanterns! These are wonderful Solar Lanterns in the Oriental style for your lawn & garden. They are solar powered so that there is no need for replacing batteries or extension cords. Please check out this new product on our site.
